SALON POLICIES
Our Commitment to Professionalism, Respect, and Service
At Bery & Lorent Studio Salon, we take pride in providing a professional, welcoming, and efficient salon experience for every guest. To help maintain a respectful and smooth-running environment for both clients and staff, we’ve outlined our salon policies below.
These policies are designed to protect your time, our schedule, and the integrity of the services we provide. Please read them carefully before booking your appointment.

Booking & Appointment Policy
Scheduling Appointments
Appointments may be booked by calling the salon directly at (708) 345-1423. We recommend booking in advance, especially for color services, smoothing treatments, and appointments with specific stylists.
Walk-ins are welcome but are accommodated based on availability.
Appointment Confirmations
Clients will receive an appointment reminder via call or text. Please confirm your appointment at least 24 hours in advance. Unconfirmed appointments may be released.
Cancellation & No-Show Policy
Cancellations
We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. This allows us to offer the time slot to other clients and adjust our schedule accordingly.
Repeated cancellations without proper notice may require a non-refundable deposit for future bookings.
No-Shows
Clients who do not show up for their appointment without prior notice will be marked as a no-show. After two no-shows, a deposit will be required to secure future services.
No-shows result in lost time and income for our stylists. We appreciate your respect for their time and schedule.
Late Arrival Policy
We allow a 10-minute grace period for late arrivals. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we may need to modify or reschedule your service to avoid disrupting other appointments.
Chronic tardiness may affect your ability to book with specific stylists or for high-demand time slots.
Service Satisfaction Policy
Your Satisfaction Matters
We want you to love your hair. If you are not satisfied with your service, please contact us within 7 days of your appointment. We will gladly offer a complimentary adjustment to address your concerns.
Important Notes
- Adjustments must be performed by the original stylist.
- Service issues related to changes of mind (style, color, length) after services are completed may incur additional fees.
- We do not offer monetary refunds for completed services.
Product Return Policy
We offer exchanges for unopened, unused retail products within 14 days of purchase. Due to hygiene standards, we cannot accept returns on opened products, brushes, or personal-use tools.
Used or opened items are final sale unless defective. Please retain your receipt for all product returns or exchanges.
Children in the Salon
Children are welcome for scheduled services. However, for the safety and comfort of all guests:
- Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
- Children not receiving services should not be left unattended in the salon area.
- Loud, disruptive behavior may result in rescheduling or refusal of service.
We appreciate your understanding in maintaining a calm, professional environment for all clients.
Cell Phone & Device Use
We ask clients to please:
- Silence phones during services
- Use earbuds for audio
- Avoid speakerphone or video calls inside the salon
We strive to keep the salon atmosphere relaxing for every guest.
Health & Safety Policy
For the safety of our clients and staff:
- Please reschedule if you are feeling unwell, have symptoms of illness, or have been recently exposed to contagious conditions.
- Our salon is regularly sanitized and maintained per professional standards.
- All tools and stations are disinfected between clients.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone presenting symptoms of illness or exhibiting inappropriate behavior.
Pricing & Payments
Service Pricing
All prices listed are base rates and may vary depending on:
- Hair length, density, or condition
- Time required for service
- Use of additional product or techniques
Your stylist will provide a price estimate during your consultation before service begins.
Gratuities
Gratuity is not included in service pricing and is left to client discretion. While not required, it is always appreciated.
Loyalty & Referral Policy
We are grateful for client referrals and repeat business. Please ask our front desk about current:
- Referral rewards
- Loyalty programs
- Seasonal promotions
We are committed to building long-term relationships through consistency and trust.
Photos & Social Media Consent
With client permission, we may photograph completed hair services to be used on our salon’s website or social media platforms. We will never post your image without your verbal consent.
If you prefer
not to be photographed, simply let your stylist know — your preference will be respected without question.
